Got my welcome packet in the mail yesterday. This will be my fourth year to go and I can’t wait. Anyone know of any 250 Lussos or SWBs that will be in attendance? Last year was decent for both despite the rain, even saw a fellow DFW car.
You won't be disappointed next week. More than 115 Ferraris have been entered for the spectacular show on Saturday at The Breakers. Yes, there will also be a 250 GT Lusso and a 250 GT SWB Berlinetta. Plus no fewer than 8 (eight!) 250 GT SWB California Spiders. Plus 12 (twelve) 250 GTE 2+2's (incl. a 330 America). Plus a 250 GTO and a 250 TR Spider and about five F40's. Marcel Massini
I'm sure it will change 5 times before next Saturday. I recall last year at this time it was supposed to be sunny and clear.
I even opted for a convertible as my rental, expecting to have the roof down most of the time. Man was I wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have been checking for the past 5 days and it always had Sat with rain. Today it has Saturday as just cloudy so that's a plus..
Don’t worry about the weather. It’s way to early to tell. it changes on a dime here and they typically cover their asses by saying 50% chance of rain.
A year ago today, the thought of a downpour would have been an absolute nightmarish scenario to me. What happened come Concours day? It downpoured. I presented two of my cars at the show. I woke up that morning, looked out the window and was very upset. Guess what? I survived and my cars didn’t melt, and both did very well. It was a learning experience for me to relax a bit. Of course, I hope it’s 75 and sunny. If it isn’t, it will still be a great.
Any final word on the number of F50’s attending, given it’s one of the honored models this year? I was a little disappointed when I heard that the number wasn’t very high, so I’m hoping that’s recently changed.
Thank you. That’s what I had heard before. Was hoping for a last minute uptick. That’s a shame, but we’ll enjoying the one regardless.
I've been going since 1997 and last year was the only day the weather was that bad. Great to see all the cars who showed regardless. As you said, they won't melt. Lol, it did take awhile for my cold wet feet to warm up after I got home. Fingers crossed this year will be pleasant.

As a spectator who is only planning to attend one day, any suggestions as to which day would be better to attend?
The Concours d’Elegance on Saturday at the Breakers, without question. Everything revolves around Saturday.
Based on multiple suggestions already provided, you may wish to expand what type of spectating you prefer ? Cars in motion (= Race track) ? Cars in stationery display (= Show field) ? Or ?
It's my understanding there are no formal track races this year, but track practice/play on certain days (by ticket)- spectators only pay parking.
