Is it me, or someone mentioned that this part is virtually 'unobtanium' ?

I have a friend that needs a pair, and has scoured the world. Cannot vouch for his ability...

    Help?

    Regards, Alberto

If you find a stash I am in need of 1 of them. I have been looking for 3 years with no luck.

I was looking at a parts catalog from Vick Auto Sports and saw what appears to be your part, Alfa or Fiat, I don't remember. Try googling them and ask for a catalog.

I have a pair of driver quality plates. Italian chrome wasn't the best! I have a pair of NOS plates for my car and the chrome is so-so at best.

Looks like the holes and cutout for the handle are too small, but in general pretty close and great work as always.
I don't know that anyone would know the difference once installed, but as is, I think they might be trouble to install.

Looks like a good first effort. Is that stainless steel? Stainless would be preferable to chromed steel to me.

Well, they have turned out just the way they were supposed to be.

What puzzles me, is I have them on ebay and apparently no one wants them.
Maybe I ought to raise the price...?

Dario, I can help you, but as all these items were handmade, you run the risk of slight differences.

Nooooooo. Alberto, don't put the price up. I live on the tip of Africa where one of our painfully earned Rands equals twenty to a Pound and 15 to a US Dollar.
Question, are Left and Right the same as far as fixings go. I was prepared to try and very carefully tap tap one out after making a mould and spark eroding to the correct shape using a sheet of brass. But if you have a L and R in stock I would rather save myself the hassle.
    Very best Regards
    Dave
