OK, not sure anyone us following this thread any more, but a question...

Wheels are being installed. Installer says the wheels need stems that are smaller than what he has available.

Are these requiring a special size, harder to get than I expected? I sent a note to SP but hate to order air stems from UK unless REALLY necessary. Anyone know offhand?

Have you tried the OE stems? I believe it is made for those.

I appreciate this, but I see they do not list the 308.

The only difference in the new and old PN is the length of the nut. The 174166 left some threads exposed, the 105069 does not.

First (crummy) picture of car in the shop minus the Hayashi Racing wheels and stock looking 16” repros added.

I’ll get better pics at some point.

For everyone’s info, I thought the repro wheel center caps sit a little funny on the wheels. I researched the caps and found a number of similar looking parts and part numbers. I found the OEM caps, part number 340066 to be what appeared to be correct. Almost identical, the yellow was a hair lighter, both had the tiny silver trim around the horse. Bought a set and they fit and look exactly like the repros I got from Superperformance at half the price. Rather than sell one or the other extra set though, it’s unnerving that the caps pop off with a flick of your fingernail, so I’m keeping the extra set as a spare.

A couple little dabs of clear or black RTV on the back side of the cap might give some peace of mind...a habit I'd gotten into after losing a cap (not ferrari) years ago. They still pop right off when you want them off but not until.
