Even the rear challenge grill that you see allot of on a standard 360 is not the same as a CS. Challenge rear grill is made of steel and has smaller holes and the CS is made of aluminum and has bigger wholes . I was lucky to have a friend that has a CS car to compare the two

There are hundreds of places online that custom build radiators to your size specs.

Just curious, I would have thought you could have bought a real CS and not had to do all that work. Considering what you have invested to convert a regular 360. Unless you were converting a six speed manual.

No doubt, but I’d think most enthusiasts that would want a CS to being with would want Ferrari parts on it.

I never started out wanting to build CS , it all started after I bought the CS mirrors and CS wheels and cbc brakes kit . I thought hell why not get the seats next so I bought standard 360 carbon fiber sports seat for 7000.00. Later flip them for 9800.00 and bought the CS seat 11000.00. Neil at Eurospares told me that Ferrari where running 9 sets of CS front and rear bumpers Euro spec light weight so why not ? they had a new set of side skirts new old stock oem. Just never stopped , I was very lucky on a lot stuff that I found. Like the F1 harness price range new where around 4000.00, I bought a new one in the factory box 577.00. I was able find all new CS harnesses new in the box average price 450.00 and they all had new relays and fuses. I loved the challenge of finding all of the parts. IMHO most of us would agree that these CS parts I have are like money in the bank .

Randy— sounds like a rewarding project.

I built a vintage 1969 fender Stratocaster 1 part at a time. Had fun scrounging for the parts.

After a bit of research this seems to be the same car: http://www.challengestradale.com/139353.html

Would be great if someone can confirm without a doubt that this is 100% the same car.

    - both cars have the same Schroth Racing harnesses and rollbar
    - mileage is consistent (#139353 had 7500 miles in May 2018 vs the copart car has 7700 documented miles on the service records).

I had considered pursuing this car, however it's damage was undercarriage. There has to be extremely severe damage underneath to cause the front and sides of the car to look the way they do. Even the muffler is crooked. As beautiful as the idea of rebuilding a CS is to me, I don't think that this is it. If somebody does pursue it on here however, please update us with how it turned out.

don't worry, undercarriage repair is easy... apparently all you need is some sheet aluminum and panel glue!

What did it go for? I would guess around 40. In the 40 to 50 range I think you would have Copart fees and sales tax of another 10k on top of that.

Oh God I hope not. Few things would sting more than considering buying a project car and watching a purveyor of clickbait butcher it.

It never came up for auction. I suppose it was an inside deal.
