My folks first house cost $11,750 in San Francisco in 1961. Adjusted for inflation, $14,000 in 1963 is equal to $115,700 in 2019. (~3.8% inflation) I love the "most reliable" bullet. Obviously this car was still a ton of money though. Hear you on the "if only."
