Anyone have the torque settings for 348 ts wheels?

    Preferably in lbs please.

Either I have become blind or remain ignorant and cannot seem to locate torque specs for the wheel/tire.
Allow my ineptitude as it is late and ...what the hell was I asking?...oh yea, torque setting.

This thread is a bit old, but hopefully someone will chime in. Picked up some 355 wheels and trying to decide what to torque them to on my 348. And I also assume I need to use the 355 lug nuts instead of the 348's?

During my search for 348 wheel torque, I found 80, 75 and 72 Lb.Ft. Take your pick (I don't think it really matters which one). Exact application of torque requires that the threads and the clamping surfaces are lubricated with a particular grease (usually Moly based). In the case of wheel bolts, you will never have these ideal conditions, plus the clamping surface is conical. I don't think putting Moly grease on the wheel bolts would be a good idea as it may help them get loose. I tighten my bolts to 80 Lb.Ft. but, when I then check by hand, I always find by feel that some bolts are slightly less tight than the others so I just add a bit of "calibrated elbow" torque.

Thanks so much! I think I'll go with 80lb.ft just to be safe. Wouldn't want one of the wheels working its way loose!
