yes as said before (#1197) and confirmed by ferr9000.......limited and numbered....around 799
Even if so...this is just a marketing tool and will be a meaningless number on the dashboard! The 599GTO - for example - was also annouces as "limited and numbered (599)" and in reality the confirmed production number is beyond 800 by now...
Sorry but that is not confirmed by anyone. Also Ferrari is a public company, if they say they will produce 799, that is precisely what they will produce. I have also heard this will be a proper limited edition. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
None of these will be new for Geneva - then if the whole range is considered we'll have Roma Portofino F8 Tributo F8 Spider 812 Superfast 812 GTS SF90 Stradale (assuming confirmation that the GTC4 Lusso are discontinued).
Maybe the one new thing on this special limited 812 model's engine is a different induction system that doesn't require GPF?
Wouldn't they have to get away from GFI and back to port style injection? I think I read one of the issues with GFI is greater particulate emissions, whereas lower with port type injection?
But it works (the marketing) and even at 800 that’s low enough to fend off long term depreciation. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Even cars with port injection are running GPF/PPF filters now. Likely new induction system AND filters. I doubt we will see any new cars release without the filters now, due to current EU regualtions.
