I've been going there for 15+ years. It helps when I know the previous GM (he was literally my next-door neighbor for 2 years) back when he opened the dealership with Pierro Ferrari's son-in-law. The flush/oil change was required to participate in a Ferrari sanctioned track event. (yes, again in my Mondial.) The F8 or 812 or Lusso was offered to me personally last Wednesday. I will admit the 812 was used (less than 2,000 miles though) - and yes, I drove my Mondial (the horror) there instead of my 456. Guess they must just like 'my type.' The 'type' that thinks the Mondial is one of Ferrari's most distilled and exhilarating driving experiences, just like Car & Driver, MotorTrend, Automobile, Car, and Motorweek reported. Some folks get all their information from internet clickbait hit pieces. I prefer to make up my own mind and actually drive and experience cars before I comment on them. To think Ferrari N.V. chose the Mondial (for folks 6" and taller like me) as one of the cars when they invited owners to experience their analog driving experience. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Then why did you represent that you own an F40 and a 458? No wonder you are catching so much grief on here. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Meh, I lived in a double wide trailer house in Montana and owned nearly $400k in cars at one time. It’s all about priorities.
Must have edited it from yesterday am when he had the F40 listed as a wanted car. Apparently he didn’t finish the job. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wait I Fred said thought anything older than a 458 was not worthy of being a Ferrari or something to that nature? No matter that was just rhetoric, I probably mis-read it anyhow. Fred I know you have an F40 and a 458, this is easy to resolve, post a picture of you in your garage with it and show these fellows!
Dang, I have degree in physics. If I had known it would land me an F40 I would have considered some sort of job in it.
Here is my F40. Took me a bit to muster up the pic.... but I got one. There you go, chew on that!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
And here is the picture of when I pulled my F40 engine. I know what you are going to say, this guy has nerve.... yes I do. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awesome pic! Did you get a chance to drive the F8? And if so what did you think of it? Would you buy it or is it a pass?
