    Hi all,

Some BBR models come with chrome wire wheels while they should be non chrome because they're competition models. BBR does get it right sometimes, see picture for example.

Which paint colour do I need to get the same result? I prefer Tamiya spray cans. Thanks!

    Hi Peter,

You can use mat clear paint (different brands), I believe BBR does it too.

    Hi John,

So no primer, just spraying the mat clear straight onto the wheels?

Yes Peter, but only after a good cleaning of the wheels.
Maybe you can try it first on some polished alu-spareparts/wheels, so you can see what's happening.

    ursoenzo and bigodino like this.

    Hi John,

Like you I wish everybody a great 2020!

I haven't come around to trying your method yet. I'll post here when I've tried it out.
