I agree and was disappointed from Metal Memory. OK, that was quite some time ago.

I'm very sorry SmokyDave! I HATE it when I sell anything on eBay and people ask if I will end an auction early but I was so terrified of missing out that I lowered myself to their standards. When I was offered the book for £600 I couldn't leave it.

Thanks everyone else for the comments. I hadn't thought about the stamp possibly even enhancing the value. Good to know that I shouldn't lose out in any event, not that I plan to sell. It's the first Ferrari book of any real value that I've bought so I'm only looking to add to the collection.

Don’t obsess too much about the value. You are among the few who are privileged to own such a great book.

I've just received my copy of the 550/575 (M) Maranello book of Nathan Beehl. For those in doubt, as I was for some time, it is an absolute masterpiece. Very happy to add this to my humble collection of Ferrari books.

In early '20 I'll also add the 250 GT SWB book of Porter Press which is due to be released. Love to collect the V12 Ferrari books, in preparation of what will hopefully be the ownership of a F12 in the future.

I can’t comprehend the amount of time to compile a book as written about the 550/575, but I’d love to have a same print regarding the 599 and/or the F12. If Nathan would write, it would be an instant buy.

312 P book by Gianni Agnesa arrived at my home today. Sent to me by McKlein of Germany. Outstanding service.
This book is sensational and I can highly recommend it.

You have all the luck. I pre-ordered in October!
I emailed with Alexander of McKlein on Monday 16th Dec and received shipping information on Tuesday.
I am happy to hear that you feel it is a good book! That is high praise.

Well, I was involved in the deal of 0872 on 12 June 2007 to the current Swiss owner, I have since tried to sit in the car and have seen it many many times, as it lives about ten mins from my home. I was deeply involved in the research and also during the restoration. I was also involved in showing that 312 P at Pebble Beach 2008. And I know book author and 312 P aficionado Gianni Agnesa from Sardinia. Very nice gentleman and engineer. Extremely enthusiastic. So I really had to have that new book asap. And the result is outstanding.

Thanks for the recommendation. As it is a revised edition I was going to pass, as I have a copy of the first edition, but based on your description I will buy it.

I would not describe it as a revised edition.
It is an entirely brand new book that covers all three 312 P's in great detail and with a fantastic selection of new previously unpublished period photos.

First-time author Richard Jenkins has announced the release of his book, “RICHIE GINTHER: Motor Racing Free Thinker,” the first biography of Richie Ginther. The book can be ordered at

    www.performancepublishing.co.uk

I’m really looking forward to it as I believe Ginther’s story is well worth telling, and has a place in the history of motor racing, Ferrari in particular.

    Congratulations to the author.

Don't forget, he's generally credited with inventing (out of necessity) the trailing-edge spoiler on racing cars! His aerospace engineering background was beneficial.
