    Looks like the roll bars did not do the job based solely on the pictures, what do you folks think?

    looks like the windshield frame collapsed which I can understand, but did the roll bars work based on what you can see? If not, why not?

    Looks like 488 looking at the front spoiler.

    No idea if roll bars worked, but probably if occupants survived. Jaws of life supposedly used. Lots of initial speculation in the beginning as to how it was, what happened, etc but factual details should emerge soon.

    Roof crushing flat sure speaks badly for the structural integrity. Not good at all.

    Agree. Very poor performance of the structure. Her lawyers are going to be talking to Ferrari or should be. Federal required roll over protection should have prevented that.

    Engineer friend at Ford looked at the pictures and said it is a long way from being able to pass crash standards.

    FYI, There are no Federal requirements, Convertibles are excluded from the requirements of FMVSS No. 216 Roof Crush Resistance
