    William L. Mitchell, VPDesign.
Had Enzo send a crate Ferrari motor and it was installed in a Firebird. Pegasus.
Mitchell said the car wasn’t fast enough and he’d Enzo send a second Ferrari engine.
A swap was made and everyone was happy.
Pegasus still exists and there is a wooden crate with an as new Ferrari engine in a warehouse at GM. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Dunno how they would keep that from overheating, not a car for traffic.

Will cadillac have a new XLR in the Cien concept from almost 20 years ago? now that the chassis is mid-engined...

or is the C8 just 20 year old tech?

My understanding is that the Caddy version of the C8 is dead. But who really knows?

Maybe John knows....I don't think there was ever an actual RUNNING Cien. I love the design to this day, but you have to wonder how they were going to cool the powertrain. There's a reason ALL mid-engine cars have big intakes mid-ship.

The Cien had a real motor, and if I recall it was a runner. The design came from a Brit designer from the GM England Studio.

Well, there you go! Thanks for the video. Sounds like it has an SBC and a manual transmission in it.
It really is a shame they never made that car. It is STILL stunning today.

Ironically I'm thinking of picking up the car at Criswell and driving it to Vegas. I put my deposit for a Convertible the 2 days after the Tustin reveal because Furman was at a track event in Vegas I think. I waited for him to get back.

But there's still time. I don't expect a car until the middle to late of next summer.

Sat in one today. Much much better in person compared to pics! Interior very good but not F car quality. In person this car is exciting and will make many cars look bland in comparison. And My wife has already said she wants to drive it.
