Does it not make sense to spend $170k on a CPO FF with 9,xxx miles on it?

Has panoramic roof and is a 2016

    I have a 2015 f12, 2018 488 and am considering this

I’m concerned that my collection is all outdated out of spec models with the 812, F8, and lusso with replacements for all coming

Trying to justify the FF over my s550 coupe for my DD

Only you can know what’s best for you. All the newer models have a different feel to them. Speaking for the FF, some have preferred the upgrade to Lusso (and Lusso T) whereas others see it as a downgrade in certain areas which they value.

If latest tech and spec matters most to you then upgrade the 488 and F12 and keep the DD as is. The only sensible solution is to go drive them all and then decide...

You can buy a Lusso T in the 190's maybe less today and a V 12 in the upper 190's or low 200's. The 16 FF's should be closer to $150K right now. I do fine it interesting that I sold my 14' FF for $150K 2 years ago and dealers are still asking this amount today. I know they aren't paying much, they probably have $20K or so in each car.

wholesale for a 2012 with @ 15k miles is 105kish. 155k to 160K shld buy it. if you want more refined go for a lusso which im pretty sure are sub 200k now. if you want sportier and more visceral go FF.

I guess the question is, would I be overpaying at $170k for a 2016 FF with 9,xxx miles

meaning if I sell it in a year will I lose huge money

Not really your saying that a 16’ FF can be had at 150s so that would mean I’d overpay by 20-25k at 170k

No why all the cryptic talk and riddles? How much should one look to spend on a Highly optioned panoramic roof 2016 FF with 9k miles

that’s the question plain and simple.

I’ve got a 488 and a f12 and I’m trying to logically weigh if it’s worth the spend for this car at $170k or am I taking a $25k depreciation hit the second I sign the paperwork and drive

I’d ask friends but none are F car owners not in financial position to have logical discussion about spending $170k on a car when I’ve got two Ferrari already I’m in for $$550k to own

You are absolutely right and so are your instincts !
I would save for next gen machines unless you're a true vintage collector and looking at long term investment with risk

I got a s63 coupe. I’d never replace it with my FF as a daily driver. Never

All 2016 have free pano roof.

You already have F12 and a 488. Do you really care about losing 10-20k in a year? If you really do, I suggest don't buy another Ferrari for now, especially the new models are coming out fast. All Ferrari depreciate except a few. Last year FF is of course dropping faster than the early years.

If I like the spec and color that I would order myself, I will buy the car and not worry about if I am overpaying that little much.

if it’s the red one, fully loaded and amazing. That one maybe.
The miles will hurt it more.

The Nero one on the west coast ? No.

Thing is the dealers are trying to keep the price up. Agree on Lusso T for slightly more but the FF is so raw and much more analog.

I expect the 16’s will keep a premium but soon all FF’s will take a hit.

170k seems high when 2019 Lussos arent moving at $220k..

Offer 150k and see what they say. At 150k, you will still lose money, esp if you add miles and as the warranty runs out. But im guessing you could sell it for 130k in a year and 15k miles without too much trouble. By then Lussos will be plentiful at $170k.

As for taking an FF over the S, the FF will feel outdated tech wise but it will give you much much more reward driving it.

What do you think is a better value a blue and cuoio 2014 FF with standard options with 4,300 miles for $159k or a black and black 2016 with Panoramic roof and basically standard options with 9,000 miles for $171k

    both are CPO 2 years

Honestly right now neither. Both are at least $15-20k too high.

612 would be a nice DD,pretty much fully depreciated at around 50% of your planned purchase price.

I don’t know I’m just curious and really can’t see myself not buying one.. I see an even better 16 with every spec basically but it’s higher miles and not CPO. It’s tough to decide
