Fuelfed lake forest on Sunday
Well it needed a 240v line ran out to the garage from the panel in the basement, luckily I don't have a finished basement so it is easy access , I helped my electricin run everything out and it took just around 3 hrs. hanging the unit too k all but two minutes its super small. its no blast furnace but it should help keep it at 40- 45 deg, and maybe if I decide to ever work on the Dino again I can crank it up a little. my total cost was 500 with the heater and material and labor. A gas vented is the best way to go in the long run but I didn't have a good spot to run the vent. So I figured ill give the electric unit a try
I agree. But its the holidays and time to enjoy time with our families. But I did drive the Dino last week to put fuel and stabil in. Then the next day I traded in my Moms car in and bought her a new 2018 Hyundai as a surprise!. Most exciting thing ive done in a long time!
You're a good son Mike. I hope she likes it and doesn't make you get her old car back. I thought I'd run into you again this year but the weather kept me from going to the rest of the events. I'm gonna do a few odds and ends to the 355 and put her to sleep in a couple weeks. See you around next year. Have a great Thanksgiving!
Thx Stan. By getting her a car it will keep me from drooling over the classifieds cause my wife ain’t gonna let me buy anything else now! I was driving myself crazy wanting to buy a new toy that I don’t need. Her car needed some work and her husbands car is a pos. And she loves it. Happy thanksgiving to all
Will be starting the 2019 events thread this week. Will post all big sportscar events in the region. As usual you can all add events you find that you think we might be interested in.
