I'd get a V12 Lusso and forget about the poor man's Ferrari and the British truck.

Bentley. No one buys a Ferrari for back seats and the luggage space isn't even that big. There are better options if you want a comfy GT ride and better options if you want an exciting ride.

of all the cars you pick Bentley to compare it to? i dont see it at all

how about aston vantage or db11? maybe even vanquish depending on how roma performs. amg gt? even jagual f type svr. these are all very close in design and performance. roma will probably be the sportiest and most expensive but that's how it always is

real comparison to me is the Portofino. I don't see why anyone would give up option to drop roof for this all at same price and on road performance level

    Comes down to priorities:

    Coupe vs hardtop/spider
    Retro style vs modern style
New thing on the block vs older
    Newer tech vs older tech
New style interior vs old style interior
    Performance ??
    Price ??

yes a fabric light weight soft top would be interesting version of roma. but watch them put a folding hardtop and sell it along side protofino

I think the Roma is a proper introductory-level Ferrari car for those who are too timid/conservative to go for a mid-engine or who live in climates not really suitable for Cali/Porto cab-style.

Still Ferrari with the Roma does not offer a practical replacement for a 911 (991/992) Porsche as the rear-seats legroom so far looks very limited.

The last-generation Bentley GT is clearly better in that respect, but you really have to like to drive 2.5 tonne cars first if you go for it)

As I like my cars (even dailies) to be as light as currently possible, I use my 991 to drive my kids (14/9) to school and would generally be open to get another prancing horse in addition to my F12 in the garage (and a one which I can trust my wife to drive, as the F12 is too much for her), pity that))

Excuse me for mentioning BMW here)), but from a price/performance perspective for a daily car I was very much a fan of the new 850i/m8, but only until I tried to sit my 9-year old son in the back seat..

Clearly these ones are not really about family values.. Somehow only Porsche with their 911s still cares...

People who think it looks like an Aston or a Jag are just unfamiliar with classic (60/70s) Ferrari styling. The Roma is an unabashed homage to the 275/365. Im a professional designer for over 30 years so Im going to give my perspective more weight than a non-pro-designers.

Roma still looks like Ferrari sent a Jag F-Type to Tom Meade, and said "Make this into our own Ferrari-Type".

The Bentley............. um.......... no. Not really comparable, unless a similar-$$$ motor home would fit in the same comparison.

The Roma screams to me "bachelor/playboy/divorced(finally free)"
The lines on it looks sculpted to pull fast women.
    Just my opinion.

I couldn't even imagine anyone really sitting in the backseat. Over 600 horsepower...

There is another thread comparing it to Aston as well! The Bentley is a potential competitor to the ROMA as well, that was said by Ferrari itself!

I think Astrid is the only person cross shopping these at all... and I don’t think he’s in the market for either.

Tiny problem! The W12 Continental GT is not available to be purchased in the US. By the time the 2 year delay is over due to the W12 failing many times the US EPA test requirement it’s going to be an old model. The Roma is a good alternative but is not a perfect comparable. I for example am tired of waiting for the GT and would jump on it and buy the Roma if it was stretched by 6 inches, got larger rear seats and had a AWD option as the Bentley has. 600+ ponies would be good too.
