360 conversion

Hey 02360Spider the standard 360 head pipe is black and CS is blue I am waiting on the proper claps to install the CS head pipe I will check to see how they are different. I think they are the same though maybe a little lighter .

Factory Challenge Racing exhaust found new in the box, with no cats and test pipe the engine bay never really gets any hotter than a normal car. I never even think about it any more. I use to have to leave my garage door open and blow fan on the engine bay to cool it down huge difference in temp now .

Yes you can bolt it wright up on a standard 360, the CS anti roll bar is to stop allot of roll in the tight corners and it is hollow so there for it is lighter than the standard 360 ant roll bar. There is allot of info out there about the difference between the two . I do not know if you can find any more one new ones. Is this the only 360 in the USA that has these lexan door glass windows ??

 

Not trying to fool any one LOL , the biggest difference between the CS and standard 360 is the weight. This 360 conversion build weights less than a CS by over a hundred pounds

 

Remapping the ECU,s new CS TCU mass air flow sensors using a factory Challenge race carbon fiber air in take tube, deleted smog pump cats evap system CS anti roll bar, shocks springs upgraded the ecu for the shocks and CS air box lids and many more things . I am waiting for cooler weather before it goes to Mase and swooping out the TBs to 430

Update on my 360 conversion taking it to Ferran Automotive in Jacksonville FL, the owner of the shop is Mike Ferran . He has been a mechanic for over 40 years and currently owns himself a CS and 430 Scud and a ford GT40 so he knows these cars inside and out . He going to install CS anti roll bar flush and change all fluids, replacing ac compresses and new ac belt replacing all the pinch clamps. Installing the new CS blue vent pipe. Changing out the F1 filter and pull the factory Challenge oem race exhaust witch has singe tips and modify to duel tips. I am very picky about my 360 and I trust him totally, very fair on the price and you get what you pay for. I would very much like to get your opinion 1 should I remove the F1 rain light 2 remove the rear tow hook 3 convert to duel tips ?? Looking forward to your opinion thanks

I want to share one more thing it is about replacing the ac compressor I spent allot of time trying to get the best value rebuild or new one, from a my research rebuilds do not last very long and the factory oem ones cost to much over rebuilding I all most went rebuild but I found the same one the factory use made by Delphi found one at AW Italian in New Jersey they are asking 1298.00 I always ask for a discount so they sold me one 1000.00 shipped Fedx https://www.awitalian.com/AC-Compressor--180041_p_5153.html hope this helps some one out one day
