Uninspiring/derivative design with shades of Jaguar F-type, Aston Martin/AMG GT rear/Maserati Alfieri.

It looks like a stamped steel tractor grill! :)

It could have been a nice focal point given the proper treatment.

The color matching grills is the only red card. They look like they are still wearing the plastic for protection when cars are being delivered.

Ugh. Cute little Aston or jag.
Rear lights terrible, same for the painted lattice work from the yard.
    Very odd car.
The design misses keep stacking up...Porto, 812 ungodly rear, spf90 and this.
At least the Roman for Men is sleek and more cohesive.

As an Aston Martin owner, I love the new Roma but...
the front grill is a non-starter. I'll bet someone comes up with an aftermarket "egg crate" insert to replace the Target Shopping Cart grill.

I couldn't put my finger on it, but that describes it perfectly. Pity.

I have to credit an earlier poster for that description of the grill.

Grill should be thinner slats. Would prefer black grill or traditional metal.

New Aston vantage was criticized for having a trout mouth... this shares the same issue. Aston guys hated that also.

Grill is really the only issue I see. Center console is like this in most new cars, Porsche, Aston, etc... even Ferrari 550/575 separated the driver a passenger a bit with high tunnel .

It's true that it looks a lot like an Aston, and I think it was made to be the DB11 competitor, same price, same style, it could be also a serious competitor to the Bentley GT (somehow!), but trust me it's superior to them both in many ways, especially the interior!
In general Italians are superior to English in everything! That's why I'll vote for the Ferrari ROMA.

    The Ferrari ROMA: 9/10
    The Bentley GT: 8.5/10
    The DB11: 5.5/10

Roma could very well be last nail in Aston coffin...

Until now all gt Ferrari’s were much more expensive than Aston models for the most part. Now... it’s on.

Love their last vantage and dB 9/s / vanquish... too bad.

So what will fully optioned out Roma’s sell for? 280k? Or closer to 220k?

It's a stunner, a showstopper. Ferrari showing the world the meaning of gran turismo.

Stakeholder are winning, very nice car... But... I miss a bit the Ferrari feeling.

I feel a bit.. CEO has pressure to bring stock exchange results.

    Cheers

Jaguar Type Zero and Ferrari GTO 250, they were very similar, and both, they were icons! It is not that big deal! but of course I agree with you that we can both hate the SF90.

As much as us purists hate it, business wise this new broader portfolio envisioned by Marchionne puts Ferrari further ahead. They now have all bases covered apart from an SUV, it will be very hard for any of the rivals to keep pace. I love the Roma it reminds me of the 456 GT although the grille & the interior tablet is a dislike.
