Glad to see you in the corral. What a gorgeous car even partially covered up. Love the color and challenge rims. Perfect.

    Welcome to AZ.

The mesquite trees can drop sap here and there so many cars were covered up for that and leaves depending on where they are parked.

I look forward to meeting you and seeing the revealed car in person!

Wow Robb, thanks for posting those pics, my wife was busy taking pics of me, so I never saw what was up on the big screens.

I had the car well prepared for the Concours and the Coppa Bella Machina, but the Grand Touring 2+2 Award and the Schedoni Award were totally unexpected.

We're in Sedona now joining the 3 day Dino Rally organized by Scott (synchro). Eight beautiful Dinos and 7 other assorted Ferraris. Today we were at the Grand Canyon.

If you really like driving and don't mind an extra 3 hours and 150 miles, try this:
    -I-25 to Socorro
    -US 60 to Springerville
-South on 191 (Devils Hwy) thru Hannagans Meadow. 123 miles and 400 turns
    - Go to Safford
    - US 70 to Globe
    - US 60 to Apache Junction and on to Scottsdale
Lots of YouTube videos of Hwy 191. Old Hwy 666 until the scared people had it changed .

    OK, a trip follow up.

Firstly, I want to thank everyone who responded with suggestions for routes and dining recommendations. I couldn’t get to them all, but I considered them all. A special thanks to Robert (Admiral Goodwrench) and his wife HelenAnn for treating us to dinner at a great restaurant in Santa Fe. If you have a chance to meet and talk with Robert, don’t pass it up.

Here’s a summary of the trip by the numbers –

    6,604 miles traveled

    19 days for the trip

    15.68 average mpg

    17.87 best mpg

    12.11 worst mpg

    $1,237.48 spent on gas

    $3.649 highest priced gas

    $2.739 lowest priced gas

    1.5 quarts of oil added

4 awards received at the FCA event

Tons of friends made and friendships renewed (Tricia and I with Luca Dal Monte and Simone Schedoni)

    Innumerable smiles

11,618 pieces of truck retread tires on the highway

    14.7 billion calories consumed

And last but not least …….

    0 speeding tickets!

Looking forward to Mont Tremblant July, 2020

    Dear Paul,

The pleasure was all ours, we were able to see your magnificent 612 OTO and meet delightful Tricia and spend an evening talking about cars and other fun topics. It was interesting comparing my 1963 cross country trip in the 500 Mondial with yours, and thankfully you did not encounter a blizzard crossing the continental divide as did I. Trust the FF is all you expected.

    Best regards,

    Robert
