    Just an FYI. My 2004 gated spider with 8500 miles (5200 covered in the last two years since purchased) displayed a CEL. Took it to Algar and they found a faulty rollover valve. They replaced all four, and the CEL was gone. However, the next time I filled up, gasoline almost immediately spewed out of the filler. I thought there was a problem with my casually setting the nozzle on low rather than high flow. Tried again with the same result, took it back to Algar and they diagnosed a bad carbon canister. Problems solved.

    That all makes sense. Fixed the leaking rollover valves so the nozzle detected back pressure and kicked off. The canister was faulty all along you just couldn't tell. Glad it is fixed.

    Thanks for the info, those are common issues with these cars. Did you by any chance get a copy of what the codes behind the CEL were?

    Can the canister be replaced by a DIY? My 360 is really slow to fill...back pressure makes sense. Thx
