A rather interesting LFA currently for sale in Japan. Looks to be Pearl White exterior over [edit: Blue] and Red Alcantara. Red leather on the steering wheel, and (I think) the seat backs. Groovy! There are some truly wild LFAs out there, many of them not to my taste but it's cool to see people go crazy with the specifications versus some cars which come out of the factory all looking the same.
Bad, but not as bad as the brown exterior with orange interior car Lexus was only willing to do alcantara steering wheels on very late cars (with an uncharge)

Was at the Tokyo motor show today. I didn't get a picture but there is a neat display in the back area of the Lexus area. They have a room with an LFA. They had a presentation with the sound of the LFA driving along with a great light display. What an amazing sounding car!
This is part of the reason I like cars like the LFA - for Lexus / Toyota, this car meant enough to them that they are still championing its cause and letting it be the face of the brand almost a decade after it was originally unveiled. If it means this much to them after so much time, imagine how much time, effort, and dedication they put into the engineering and development process. The chief engineer himself was quoted saying that he expected to cry when the LFA program ended. You don't get that sort of passion from a mass-producer of sports cars or supercars, who are on to the next model after a 1 or 2 year cycle.
LFA #332 is for sale, this is a Nurburgring package car in non-standard Red (3P0) (four colors were offered "standard" for the Nurburgring, but Lexus let buyers choose from the full color palette if desired). 5,819 miles as of listing. P.O.A. Interesting note, this is one of the few LFA Nurburgring examples without the rear winglets option seen on most LFAs. Nick Trott, editor of evo, summed up the Lexus supercar in these words: “The LFA deservedly made the final five of the best cars evo magazine has ever driven. Flawless build quality, meticulous construction and exquisite detail dovetails with a sublime engine, engaging dynamics and supercar performance. The result? A true automotive jewel.” Image Unavailable, Please Login
The below LFA (I believe it's #151) will be auctioned off at No Reserve on January 18th in Scottsdale via Leake Auctions. Nice, simple color combination, hopefully it does well as the standard cars deserve to be closer to the Nurburgring cars in price! https://www.ironplanet.com/for-sale/Automobiles-2012-Lexus-LFA-Coupe-Arizona/2770518?h=5000%2Ceid%7C2770518%7C2770327%7C2770363%7C2770414%7C2770124%7C2770392%7C2770347%7C2770145%7C%2Cmode%7C6%2Cmf%7C1&rr=1&hitprm=eid%3D2770518%7C2770327%7C2770363%7C2770414%7C2770124%7C2770392%7C2770347%7C2770145%7C%2Cmode%3D6%2Cformat%3Djson%2Cmf%3D1&fbclid=IwAR0WMn1u9nHm-68wB1lD2ZQ-t1XvE9ShFlDe-1e3pd9LJM9rYpqAW51jPfY
Did they include the plaque number on the sale page? I have a friend who documented every LFA that came stateside and others, but has never caught this example.
Some great impressions on the LFA in this article by Road & Track: https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a29213/toyota-2000gt-lexus-lfa-drive/
