Sorry I thought you were the guy that bought my TDF 360 stick years ago.. Yes completely differant car!
Thanks Bretc if you were in SD I would have wanted to come and see it. Looks amazing. Love the 458. Started with the 360 then to the 430, but the overall performance of the 458 is a completely different experience. Even better than the 488 with regards to exhaust note
You're interested in a $150k plus car but you won't drive two hours to see it? it does sound like either way you would just want to see it, not really buy it lol ..sorry had to chime in couldn't help myself!
LOL..... not quite the case Tarek307. My current schedule does not allow me the luxury of taking that time for the 8 hour round trip - imagine that. If it were local then its sooo much easier.... I know you can say its a lack of commitment to a task, but other priorities sometimes take precedence. Knee jerk responses where you cannot help yourself are funny and welcomed - just like this one.
Fyi i have talked to Bret and he seems like a meticulous owner, if i were you and really interested, i'd just have a PPI done on the car then and you get the results at the comfort of your own home and even have the car shipped to you, or on a fun weekend do the trip and pick it up!
Smiles. Thanks Tarek. all good suggestions. a good due diligence will always yield a better outcome than knee jerk impulsive response (not matter what Gladwell may propose) - at least that's been my experience.
Last service , which was an oil change last week , was at a private Ferrari shop . Prior to that , all at dealer . I would assume dealer would want to go over car prior to selling you a warranty which is fine !!
We actually flew to Vegas from LA one time when the Hermes store called my wife that a handbag in a color she wanted suddenly showed up. My schedule could not allow the drive, and we came home in 4 hours with something completely unnecessary that she wanted for a while. Berkins look like a Walmart bag. The Hermes bag I think is more ridiculous than men's watch, wine and even toy cars. So fly to LA from SD. Have the seller drive the 458 to the airport to pick you up!
usually when the seller writes SOLD that maybe a little hint that the car is probably "Not available" just guessing here
