It's the front like the blue car that appeals to me. Seen a black street car in Monterey years ago with the GT bumper and fell in love

Robb, you Leica dark red? I give-a you dark-a red - my old 365GTC #10581 - I sold at David Goodings Pebble auction in 2009; my buyer sold at Bonhams Scottsdale auction in 2013 to current guardian for $880,000. incl buyer's comm. This was the single sale that blew the top off prices for the 1960's Ferraris. Prior thereto 330 and 365GTCs routinely sold between $250K-$300K, the only exception being my 2009 Goodings sale at hammer price of $345K.

The paint is not a factory color; it's a Bill deCarr custom bordeaux.

Great day out and about in AZ.

The Blu car has emerged from the workshop and you can see it in its lowered form with finally all the items completed. I think the new ride height is perfect. In between stock and challenge heights. It almost ran out of threading so we stopped it at this point.

50/50 weight distribution on the scales with me in the seat at 210.

We took it out for some extended road testing today since so much has been done mechanically since it’s arrival in April.

There are two weeks to go until the National annual concours and events in AZ so we wanted to make sure there would be no surprises. We’ll probably put more than 1200 miles on the car that week.

Only real issue is the car needs another wash and detail so I’ll focus on that next week. Please pardon the water marks from some la escape sprinklers we couldn’t avoid.

My daughter came home from college over the weekend and we had a blast on several of the roads to be featured in the annual rally and pleasure drives near our place.

    Great stuff.

Met up in the morning with my good friend and mechanic Jon. We added the new momo alcantara wheel like the one in my yellow F355 that I had previously.

The wheel is really perfect. Steering feel is great.

You may remember the car for sale out of Tucson. Well Jon bought it and my daughter drove him down to close the deal while I was away on assignment.

That was a good road trip for them and the car has been a hit. His first Ferrari even though he has worked on everything from challenge cars, f40’s and anything else old or new you can imagine. I’m excited for his ownership and look forward to many happy years and adventures together with new places to see with the cars. You’ll see the red B at our garage regularly.

Today Jon brought his mom on the drive and the group had a blast.

Getting ready to roll. Love the stance with the 11 and 15 spacers and the lowering, alignment, and corner balance. I forgot to put the flags out but they’ll be out in full force for Ferrari week in AZ Nov 6.

More driving to get back home after lunch to hang out with my wife and our parrots before work in Vegas this week. Almost finished and ready for a slower winter.

We took the Aston out for a quick run to keep it from feeling neglected... another great one.

All the cars need some extra cleaning before the season busts open. So that is on my to-do list.

I’d happily find a slot in the garage for it. But I think an f12, 599, or 550/575 will be our winner 12 in the next few years.

Out last night with Rick enticing him with the 360 stick.

He is definitely sold on one.

Nice to have options to grab a different car and go!

No doubt those car will do well, but they are still just cars in my eyes. Enzo era cars will always fare better and are the real deal.

My bad, I got that confused with the red 70th f12 on their punch-out window.

    Thank you for noting that.

Have you had any fouling issues with lowering and spacers?

Steering appears a tiny bit quicker with tie-rod angle.

No issues with the fenders - probably because I only opted for the 11mm on front.

Seems perfect to me. I’d highly recommend the setup.

I selected the drives for Ferrari week.

Thursday. Concours on the grass. Then the dinner.

Friday. Taking the 360 on the west drive to Prescott. Lunch, then peeling off to head to Flagstaff to see our daughter at college, then back via Payson.

Saturday. Rally in the F355 with my friend Jon as navigator. Then lunch and back via the old copper mines.

Sunday. Probably the F355 again. Long way to Show Low, AZ. Mexican food for lunch then back home around the lakes and canyons.

Send me a note if you will be hitting the drives.

Taz is in town for a few weeks visiting so I picked him up and we headed over to Rick’s to get the Blu car ready for the grass in Scottsdale.
