Wow yanks looking strong. Even Stanton hit one out. I'm pleasantly surprised we even got 1 game off stros but its going to get much harder from here. No faith in Paxton. But it's a series now. And thank u boone for finally putting gleyber at 3! Only took 2 yrs to do

WoW. What is happening with the Nats. The Nats have come on strong from out of nowhere. With pitching anything is possible.

I think the Cardinals used up all their offense in the first inning of the deciding game against the Braves. Atlanta did decently against Washington this season; one wonders if they would have put on a better showing than St. Louis did.

Anyway, congrats to the Nationals for making the series. Considering how bad the Senators were for most of their stay in D.C., I guess it's been an awful long time since a Series game has been played in the nation's capital!

BTW, does anyone know if the Nationals still have a significant following in their former home town, Montreal? (Or even in their part-time home town, San Juan?)

I believe the last D.C. series was way back, in 1933.

Congrats to the Nationals. With the 3rd highest current payroll in the MLB they are finally getting some ROI after all those Harper years that had nothing to show for it.

Cardinals get the mega-broom. The "Big W" strikes again.

    Four more games to go!

Why is that? Verlander pitching game 6, Cole pitching game 7.

I don't think it is over at all. JV and Cole are not locks. The astros have not been hitting the ball. I feel like this series goes to game 7.

    That was embarrassing :(

I assumed the Nats would win but didn't expect a clean sweep.

I thought you would be pounding the table and reminding everyone how many W.S. titles the Cardinal’s have accumulated over the years.

Let’s be honest. Don’t rub it in the face of Jankees fans. They will not hesitate to remind you about the # of BB’ titles. Other sorry teams may gloat over the fact they won the NL East 9 years ago and won a single post-season game.

This is a bit to much. Don’t bring up the player’s wife and kids. Make all the noise you want and scream - but keep it classy.

I heard who it was, it was Smoltz who said it in game 1 I believe. He said that anytime he played the yankees they would come at him mocking him for playing the accordion as a kid. That's crazy.

    Game 4 post-poned until tomorrow.
