HA! Blindfolded self driving dare.....:0 - BMS and thermal management on battery pack did not exist prior. Time bomb averted. Rewired to seal battery enclosures per modern standards and waterproof them. No "through pass" wiring using gland nuts etc. All plug and play for modular access and serviceability if needed. Saves @150 lbs in same footprint. Balanced Flywheel. Refresh image.

Taking a hard run at a OEM styled shift gate... Reverse is not a "Switch" so we can make this happen with some changes... More to come...

Hub has mirror "brake caliper mounting ears" un-used on that side of the hub that were begging for something to do:) Custom mounting plate....

You know, i never noticed those extra holes before.

Any interest in making and selling another pair of those brackets? My parking brake is completely non-functional, and I've given up trying to make the OEM hardware work... (long story; it's not just a matter of adjusting the cable.)

+1 -- it should really be called an "electrically-engaged and electrically-released parking brake" as it doesn't use any current when the car is parked. Went to the Wilwood site, but there's not much information about how it works; however, having an ECU in the parking brake system can be a risk ;). I wonder if you have a dead battery if it can be released?

Most electric parkbrakes work by a motor driving a thread screw to provide a clamp load via the piston.

Quite true. The ones I've serviced have a procedure to release with no battery involvement; I don't know about this particular unit though.
