oh yes and because of you i was aware of the weight, I just want to share that this HRE front 21 including the new tyre is 1.7 kg lighter than the stoick 20,and 2.3 kg lighter at rear for 21 inch vs 20 stock,i find it increidble as its bigger tyre as well this means lightweight forge does make a difference indeed

thanks to you i made sure about the weight before changing the rims so really appreciate your comment back then and your warning about weight
    Best,
    Mike

You're most welcome Mike. Wheel weight and stiffness is often overlooked and it matters.

What rubber did you end up with?

Share some pice when you get them.

Co Pilota, mostly you are right but not this time.
Sadly he was an FF owner.
    But he was still wrong.
Giving him the benefit of the doubt I suspect he really though that a T wouldn’t work in the Canadian snow, well ok....
But since when did performance in the snow become a measure of “ferrariness”?
If so, my Fiat Panda 4x4 is a better Ferrari than my Ferrari.
The rest was probably the old V12 versus V8 thing, but I’d kind of tuned out by then !
I think those of us who have Lusso Ts know we have a great car, that’s good enough for me.

really big surprise Lusso T,been driving for a month and feel so nimble and much sportier than any Porsche i have owned before this, I also test drove FF for 2 weeks in swiss and I am super surprised by this turbo engine, when in auto mode around town there is no lag i am shocked haha
all in all sporty handling nimble and very Ferrari haha now I know Ferrari is not just brand name but a real passion work of art, cant wait for my 812 to arrive i am sure that will be an amazing experience in NA v12

thank you for your nudge about Lusso T back in May/June I remember :)

Haha, I'm often wrong about a bunch of things. that's usually how it is with assumtions:D But it was mostly meant as a question:)

Makes it even more ridiculous when he's an FF owner. The FF might be 4wd, but it's not exactly an Arctic Truck. The FF 4wd system is one of those things I'm not really sure what to make of. If you actually need 4wd, I'm not sure a Ferrari is what you need.

As for the V8 vs. V12. I suspect that he would not say anything to a 288GTO owner.

Little surprise - Very soon (4 days) I will have my hands on a Lusso12 (bought a'17) to go along with my '19 T :) I was hunting for an FF but this '17Lusso was only about $25k more then then FF I wanted and was 2 years newer, way less KMs, better options, and warranty still so I pulled the trigger. I am not sure how many of you have both but we can settle the back and forth one and for all ha! Or maybe it will simply be a tie because we all need both :p

I don't doubt this for a second and I am a V12 lover through and through but with the reports regarding the issues with the front Gearbox (which I know might be only a small % of cars) and the nimble handling of the V8 car, it to me sounds like a legitimate buying option in the end (I was totally opposed to the T initially).

And to be honest, any situation where you really need four wheel drive the ground clearance of these cars makes them unfit (I do accept that in low traction surfaces, 4 wheels drive is very helpful but proper tires and judicious use of the right pedal can also get you through).

I'm contemplating V12 vs T so I look forward to an opinion from someone who owns both. My heart is leaning V12...

On either Lusso is a lift necessary--is it that low in front? I had lift (and needed it) on my GT3RS, 458 and 720s. Is the Lusso taller in front than a 458?

There are advantages. Exiting driveways/parking buildings/subterranean car park, the angle can cause scrapping. I use it daily on my FF and F12 when I exit and no scrapping. Without, its a dance. In NYC I would consider it a must.
