    Saturday, Oct. 12 RAND Luxury is hosting an auction of collectible motorcars at the Nassau County Museum of Art. A portion of the proceeds of the auction will benefit the museum.

    On Friday, Oct 11th there will be a VIP Motorcar Preview Cocktail Reception For Registered Bidders, Cosigners, Sponsors, Press/Media & Invited Guests. On Saturday, Oct 12th, beginning at 10AM there will be Motorcar Preview Brunch Reception. The auction will begin at 1PM.

    Wow, $1.2 to $1.5 million for a replica. A well done one no doubt, but still not the original thing. You know you are dealing with a very special car when the original is unobtainable my mere mortals and the replica is that also.
