Prior to now being in Florida, was 3527 in the UK?

Thank you. I hope it makes an appearance at the Cavallino Classic in January.

Marcel - do you happen to have any photos of the original interior prior to the modifications in 1965?

Check the Jess G. Pourret book "250 GT Competition" or the book "250 GTO" by Pourret & Bluemel. There are plenty of books about the 250 GTO's and they contain dozens of interior photos.

Most interior modifications were not done in 1965 but only post-2005, when poorly redone in the UK.

It will be interesting to see if the new owner works with a top restorer to return the interior to its original specification. From what I know of him, I wouldn't be surprised.

Wasn't #3527GT the GTO that was restored by Moto-Technique in the UK and covered in great detail by Octane mag some time in the mid naughts? Interesting.

    The long way home
Was it a straight purchase, or was there a partial trade involved. I know the purchaser has previously sold one car in order to replace it with another that is better / more significant / whatever.
