    Aloha,

So A couple weeks ago I may have done something funny to my remote.

When I cut power to the car, then reactivate is later, the chirp can be heard as the alarm and systems regain power.

At some point I believe the key FOB in my pocket may have been pressed while in my pocket etc.

So now when I lock the car or unlock, lock functions work, car starts etc, but no beep. I like the beep. Where is my beep.. :)

Is the LED light on the dash behaving normally?

Can you trigger the siren? e.g. Arm the alarm and turn off the battery?

OK, I just thought your siren might have (co-incidentally) failed.

after some reading on here, looks like my backup battery is the culprit, as the light is always on now after the starting sequence..
    will try.
