It’s also visually unsettling to me that the 812 GTS seats are positioned so off-centered and medial to the buttresses. I understand that the one-off SP3JC’s don’t have to accomodate a functioning convertible top, but the occupants are elegantly centered on the buttresses which also aren’t as tall as on the 812GTS.

I fail to see the funny bit. What do you gain by taking cheap shots at something others have worked hard for and care a lot about? It's even more silly as your statement is not even true.

I think in another continent it was grigio coburn. They also didn't call it coburn. They just gave the paint number, but if you look it up it is grigio coburn. I personally adore the color. If I ever TM a car, it will be the color!

I think its bold to do this. I give them credit for making it.

Its sad to say but this may be the last of its kind. If it is, it could have classic status.

Can't figure out the purpose of the exit vents behind the top of the rear arches if they are not being fed with an intake. They don't appear to be functional which would indicate no down force/less drag benefit as claimed by the coup. Would look better with a return to the F12B arches which does reinforce the question why they didn't do a spider on that version of the chassis.

I love it, except for the trunk cover that looks like a big teppanyaki table.

I agree with this. While the DBS convertible is the best looking DB11, the look feels soft and GT-ish. The 812 GTS’s appearance reinforces the more sporting nature of the 812 against the DBS and looks much better to me. No doubt the DBS convertible is a pretty car.

Aston are great looking cars, but this 812GTS (in my opinion) is much more attractive than any convertible Aston, due to its racing Heritage, power and much more sporty attitude. Aston looks to be designed for gentlemen, 812GTS looks good for gentlemen and racing gentlemen drivers as well.

    ciao

This is the absolute business. Bravo Ferrari. What a fantastic car and, IMHO, the best model in the current line up. Prove me wrong... ;)

Dealer confirmed the premium for the 812GTS is only €30K compared to the coupe. I've just listed my coupe for sale; no joke!

I assume that includes 22% Italian VAT.

Beautiful style/design on the 812 Spider. Does anyone have info on pricing and what hoops one has to jump through to get one:)? I’m sure mere commoners won’t have access to it.

I think it is to relieve pressure from the wheel well thus reducing drag.
