    It's a 99 most likely, possibly a euro

    Hey guys, just went to check my car.
    Looks like the same position as mine. I have a Canadian spec. MY 99 fuel gauge and km on the speedo the same.
    I've been told Canadian spec cars were similar to the euro ones... hope this helps.

    I have an All-American '99 and my ass plate is also there, my fuel level indicator looks the same as that. I got a cluster from a 2001 for parts last year and there were multiple little differences, I really think it's just a 99. Nothing weird about it.

    My 99 is just like this....plate in the same location, fuel gauge looks the same. My 360 has a production date of 12/1999 so it has some 99 stuff and 2000 stuff. What's different about the fuel gauge btw?

    an "A" in the VIN will mean a USA spec. A "B" will mean ROW (rest of world)

    C = RHD UK

    Actually Canadian cars (generally) match USA spec cars in almost all ways. The primary differences, if any, are quite minor, like the gauges will be metric, air bag warning labels will be in English and French, and daytime running lights will be activated. Otherwise, crash and emission requirements are the same. I believe Canadian market Ferraris all go through Ferrari North America headquarters in New Jersey prior to final delivery to the dealer, just like USA market cars. I bought a Canadian market BMW, and it was a simply process to import to the USA.

    sorry for the misinformation;) Actually meant to say Euro but a brain fart had me thinking about the 911's usage of ROW.
