I offer a 3D-printed, robust special tool, which makes refitting the window motor of the in the headline mentioned cars much easier. It holds the cable on the spool, while refitting the window inside the door.
Some are helping themselves with cable ties, but those are hard to reach after all is bolted down and there's always the danger of damaging the cable with the cutting tool, which is necessary to remove the cable tie.
This tool you simply pull away after all is bolted down and the cable laced around the pulleys.
For best visibility inside the dark and cramped door space I have chosen a bright colour.

Cost is $20.00 including (!) trackable and insured shipping from Germany to every destination on the globe.

    Best Regards from Germany
    Martin

I forgot the Mondial cars in the headline. Tool is also for Mondial 8 and Mondial QV. NOT 3.2 and T.

    Hello together,

I had a few inquiries, in which I was asked to explain once more, how to work with the tool. It seems, that especially one point wasn't completely clear in my first post above.
It is NOT necessary to fiddle with this tool BEFORE removal and unscrewing of the window motor assembly. In most cases, we remove the window motors to clean and regrease the gear mechanism. This means, that the cable windings can't remain on the spool anyway. But before reassembly we have to place the cable on the spool in a specific, correct sequence. And this tool is for holding the correctly laced cable on the pulley till the motor assembly is back on its place and the cable laced around the door pulleys.
If there are further details, which are unclear, please let me know.

I made a bigger batch for an ebayer, who wanted several. So I made some more which are immediately available. From time to time I get inquiries, whether I still offer them. Price like mentioned in the opening post is less than on ebay.

I hope, I haven't caused any confusion. I still sell it here directly to FChatters. What I prefer. And it's $5.00 less for FChat-buddies.
