I think it is worth 14 M $, IF the sun shines! And tonite it became rather foggy and chilly. Marcel Massini
My favorite sign of confusion at RM. Jaguar XJ13 replica blows through its estimate of 350 - 400k sold at 430k including premium. Jaguar XJ220 with an estimate of 400 - 450k sold at 370k including premium.
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/ferrari-288-gto.164148/page-493 Seems was a no sale last year [email protected] mio
Coincidently was bid to exactly 200K beneath low estimate in both auctions. Something to do with the Japanese stamping extra numbers on it ?
I believe it was Chassis No. 15569. It was a no reserve auction with an estimated range of $725-$775K https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/mo19/monterey/lots/r0139-1972-ferrari-365-gtb4-daytona-berlinetta-by-scaglietti/791120
Thanks so much, for indulging me!! I like the green on that 365GTC....rare car compared to the 330GTC. Thanks for your coverage!!
Not F1 cars with this history, but 6 mil is a lot of money. Hard to judge comparables. And (I guess) Nikki Lauda, while great, is not Senna or Schumacher in desirability.
Thanks for the updates......and the link to Mecum, are there other live broadcasts/streams?? "Deals to be had"...….and Wall Street is up at Friday close, 1.something percent!! For me only, knowing the story on the Matsuda GTO, that would not bother me, one bit! Where's my checkbook..must be lost on the sofa cushions!!
