You might remember my Challenge wheel project last year:

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/just-about-to-order-challenge-wheels-for-2-500.576341/page-4

Ten sets of these wheels were made and they are on 360 and F430s mostly in the US. Some are in other countries. One set went on an F430 with carbon brakes.

I had some PMs from people requesting wheels. That was the 2nd production run. All ten sets were snapped up in short order but I kept getting more inquiries.

So, here we are, the third production run is ready to ship. Five sets are not spoken for.

    Specs are still the same:

    Fronts: 19x8, et 28, 5x108 PCD, 67. 1 CB.

    Rears: 19x10, et 30, 5x108 PCD, 67. 1 CB.

    Price per set: $3,000

    Titanium bolts: $475

    Who wants a set?

    What color do you want?

These are pictures of the actual wheels:

Hello, I would be interested in a set. What kind of feedback have you had from the other buyers with regards to the offset, handling etc?

I just got my set of matte black “Oliver wheels” and titanium lug nuts today for my 2003 360. Awesome, they look and feel to be of very high quality. Now it’s time to get tires. I’m going to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, but I’m trying to decide on a size. The two sizes that guys have been putting on their 360s are:

    Front 235/35/19. Rear 295/30/19

    Front 225/35/19. Rear 285/35/19

Any thought on advantage or disadvantage of one size vs the other ?
Also, I assume guys are setting the same torque setting on these lug nuts as with the standard wheels ?

I just bought a set and I was going to go with front 235/35/19, rear 295/30/19 but I’d love to hear if anyone had any issues with that setup on a 360.

To recommend tires I need to know what cars you have and how you will use them.

We know that a 360 can handle the stock wheels/tires from an F430. My wheels will work with the same stock 225s and 285s.

For a 360, based on tirerack.com info on Pirelli tires, the front 235/35/19 is actually better matched in diameter than the stock 225 when compared to stock 360 front tires.

I used Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 235/35 and 295/30 on my gold wheels.

I have one gray set left and just ordered new production of silver.

Please let me know if you want a set of the incoming silver Challenge wheels.
They are usually sold before they finish production.

One last set from production run #3 is available right now.

A limited production run of five sets - for any color - is scheduled for next month. Reserve your wheels now.

Nice looking finished product. I mean no disrespect here, but I still can’t wrap my head around 3K for a set of knock offs. Damage a wheel and need to source a replacement, will be next to impossible unlike if they were originals.

I’m also curious how you’ve gotten around blatantly copying a product, selling it to the same market publicly and not having a lawsuit on your hands? I’m genuinely curious.

Again, either way nice looking product. Your customers seem to be happy in the threads I’ve seen.

its a replica.. there are many wheel companies out there who make replica rims of other brands, BMW, Audi, Mercedes etc.. that look near identical

where I believe although the rim looks nearly the same, the design/specs/concavity of the rim are not the same..
thus he can have them produced and sell without any legality issues etc..

indeed your point, what if a rim gets damaged.. then yes it may be an issue to replace if its not repairable..

that said.. these challenge style rims, are hands down the best rim for the 360/430

Stock wheel lugs work but I’d suggest getting the titanium ones sanfran can source. The stock ones are quite a bit shorter and although they work it’s a little sketchy knowing they’re about a 1/4 of an inch shorter. Plus the shape of the titanium ones have a better surface contact with the lug hole. I got the titanium ones when I bought my wheels.

My wheels are optimized for improved handling. The weight is reduced, offset is 9mm more aggressive, and the front wheels are 1/2" wider to limit oversteer.

I may also be interested in a set of gunmetal gray (for a black Maserati Gransport, looks like the perfect fit) but shipping to the Netherlands and import duties would drive the price up too much I think.
