Well, come and enjoy what you like. There are many facets to the Ferrari brand, and it’s good to respect enthusiasts who like things that maybe you don’t.

Is it easy to get tickets to something like this? How are the crowds ? Sounds like a fantastic trip for January ( especially when you live in MN :) ) Best place to stay ? Days to attend ?

Tickets are easy. $200 per head for the concours.
I always stay in west palm beach. Not at the breaker as it's above my pay grade.

    It does get crowded.

Yes, tickets are easy and can bought the day of.

It is well attended but I wouldn’t describe it as swamped. True Ferrari aficionados, through and through. Represented on the show field are the finest examples of every class, all in superb condition. I’ve been fortunate enough to have shown my cars the last two years and it is my favorite concours of the year.

I was thinking perhaps this was the total amount spent over all the years, but it says "recently serviced for $300,000" which is why inquiring minds wish to know.

For sure! Sounds like something catastrophic or 20 years of 'deferred' maintenance!

I think my 10 year total is about 15% of that number including all scheduled servicing, "while in there" items and a fuel tank replacement. Let's hope it is a typo.

Although the sub heading states recently serviced for $300,000 the fuller text description states ‘Approximately $300,000 has been spent on servicing this car at the Ferrari showrooms in Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale to ensure it remains in top condition’.
This suggests to me this is the total for invoices (from two separate dealers) on file over the years, not just a single recent service.

That's still 15k per year since it was acquired in 2000. How much is the fuel bladder replacement?

What else could warrant so much services for a car that has not even 10k miles?

Owner seems to have been a principal at one of the dealers..I'd think he would get better prices :)

300k, even over its entire 8k mile lifetime, is ludicrous.

Or in that case, he might have "options" when it comes to an inflated service bill, while using it to make proclamations about the mechanical health of his car.

I've seen enough service invoices for F50s that I know $300k is utter BS. The owners posting here seem to agree. I'm sure most bidders will know better. It is completely nonsensical.

    @Pranci
@ Prancing 12 unfortunately I was traveling and was not able to provide RM with all of the back up for the preservation and service work. The Online description will be updated in the next couple of days as well as they will have a copy of all invoices totaling over 300k. I am a perfectionist and wanted the car not only to look and run like new but to be an award winning example on the show field. I hired a consultant to help me source the majority of the OEM parts as well as oversee the work being performed at Ferrari of Ft Lauderdale.
Bills include close to 100k in parts, consulting work, concourse preparation and labor. The car was entered in Cavallino Classic Palm Beach 2018 which it won Platino.

Sorry for the confusion for any additional information please contact RM.
