haha, great minds think alike appreciate your post, good luck in your hunt! please share with us the car you end up with
Wow...that is gorgeous! Curious where the market is these days on the 458? I just purchased an '07 F430 Spider Nero black interior 20K miles Paid $107K drive it several times a week (luckily), and love it BUT, the 458 is in my future as a trade-up in the next year or so such a great looking car enjoy in good health!
Seems like the low end (older, more miles and fewer options) is nearing $150k range for Italias and up over $200k for newer, low miles Spiders. Most coupes seem to be $160-190k range. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Congratulations, great car By the way how do you compare the stiffness of the 458 Spider and the 991.2 TTs? And how about the steering wheel movent? Thank you for the feedback and enjoy in great health!
Congratulations and welcome to the most addicting car you will ever own.. Enjoy it to the fullest with great health... Ray,
That's a very nice spec. Still got a red Ferrari as your first Ferrari, but you got something much more exciting and unique than just the "my-first-Ferrari" spec Rosso Corsa on Tan, of which I'm not really a fan. Enjoy in good health and put on as many miles as you possibly can. If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing
thank you!! I appreciate it thank you!! awesome plan! it's so great to look forward to something by the time you are ready the 458's will be even cheaper! spiders are more for sure, mileage then year are the big variables regarding sale prices both cars feel about the same regarding stiffness/suspension/cornering, probably need to get them on the track to tell the differences the TTS seems a bit faster, pulls harder the spider sounds way better, even though I have full inconel headers/exhaust on the TTS, just can't make a 6 sound like an 8 for me, the lines on the spider are simply gorgeous, TTS not even on the same page my opinion may change over time, but the spider has a FAR better driver experience than the TTS, did I mention that sound?? I really appreciate that Ray, thank you. May all of us live in good health and enjoy these beautiful cars. Yes, I welcome this addiction! haha Thank you so much! Candy apple red is my favorite color, especially done right with a zillion clear coats so it looks a foot deep, wow I love it. I came across this car and asked the dealer what the color was, it was advertised as maroon, lol So when asked he said Rosso Maranello, I did some searching and some called it like a candy apple red, got my attention! Well, not really the same but in the sun it gets brighter and does sometimes resemble it, anyway I like the look and agree with you, it's just a little different. Also, I'm not a big fan of tan interior, just my opinion. Yes, I will drive it
Seeing pictures like this doesn’t make me feel so guilty about our indulgences! I am also new to the Ferrari world with a 13 Spyder Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, same to yours! Overall I like it a lot. The driving/seating position and steering are my favorite parts of the driving experience. I am a bit surprised with the amount of cowl shake. Not that it deters me from enjoying it, I just don’t think that a car of this level should have it to this degree. I also think the exhaust is not as a great as I expected, it’s ok. Most owners seem to rave about it. It is loud but at times I feel like the car is shouting at me. I much prefer the sound of the Performante by comparison.
I have really not noticed the cowl shake yet, maybe I'm on a better road? Compared to my TTS, the 458 exhaust note is pure heaven, especially at redline, but haven't driven a Perf
had it in for paint correction and ceramic pro, looks more like candy apple red now Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
