Correct but does Eyeman unscrew the plates every time he takes a photo shoot?

Replaced my speedometer sender with a new one I kept in stock. Unfortunately as usual the speedometer still is dead so pulled it, boxed it up and sent it out for repair. I now have a used but functional sender in stock.

My 328 is 30 years old this year, and it flew through its MOT without any issues:)
Basic Service and top up air con for summer, as very Warm in the UK, for a pleasant change.

Took the 328 to the Kars and K9’s car show today in Elk Grove, CA. It was a benefit for the Officer Tara O’Sullivan Memorial Fund. She was killed in the line of duty in Sacramento a short time ago. There were 130 cars entered and I won the People’s Choice Award. People still recognize and love the 3X8's. Hi all,

I replaced all bezels and labels with Verell's. Also replaced wrong fan switch with correct part.

I post some before and after photos.

Notice there was one bezel which was repaired at some point, very interesting to see how much creative they had to be some years ago when spare parts didn't exist at all!

We are lucky to live better times

    Best Regards

    Julio

I cleaned mine..vacuum the damn loop pile carpet!

I did manage to get the driver's seat to lock into the base track, THAT was progress!!
Add some gas, check the oil....

Parked it, after taking some helpful photos for a restoration.

What was the issue? Was the control arm bent up?

    Cleaned/polished the paint
Including the door jambs and hood gutters.
    Cleaned/conditioned the interior.
Cleaned the carpets under the seats.
    Cleaned the shifter knob.
    Checked the battery terminals.
    Checked all the lights.
Removed driver seat to tighten and adjust backrest, also repaired the driver seat adjustment arm/coil spring so it’s more secure.
    Tightened up the armrests.
    Ordered some instrument bezel lights.
Ordered two extra lightly used P4000s.
Ordered a spare blank key to have cut.

Discovered there is a light in the e-brake lever that illuminates the center console. Mind blown.

Prepped an order for some red on black Coco Mats for the floor and trunk.

Found a new re-manufacturered zippered boat cover for the “trunk”. Added it to the watch-list.

Made a list of a few little odds and ends to refresh and put back to normal.

How’d you get the badge off the top of the engine cover/hood?

Remove carpet on underside of cowling, then use a hemostat (small pliers used gently would prob work too) to remove plastic retainers from the badge studs.

Did yours originally have the rubberized caulking covering the post and clips?

I never removed it (the badge), but I think I recall seeing that...
Daniel, from Ricambi, will have the answer- he always does!

The paint sorely needs a cleaning underneath. There's a haze halo around the lettering and I simply cannot stand it.

It’s really not a big deal to remove those plastic umbrella-like retainers on the studs. Just twist & gently pull while keeping the badge from jostling around. You can do it!
