Top Marques says they want to do a Alfa Romeo 155 V6TI 1993 and 1996 DTM in 1/12th scale.

Top Marques Ferrari 126CK, Dino 206 and Lancia Delta 1992 Monte Carlo winner all in 1/12th.

One thing I do like about Top Marques is they do take advice now. I pointed out the vents were six on a 206 and they had seven. They say they will correct it. Kit company Model Factory Hiro on the other hand refuse to take any advice and are straight up arrogant, and they make just as many mistakes if not more. Hiro's 1970's racing slicks look like low profile 1980 and beyond tires. I guess a lot of these manufactures cant get wheels and tires right. The 2 worst are Hiro and Tecnomodel, who are worst of all! If I collected 1/18th I would never touch a Tecnomodel as they are always wrong on the wheels and almost always wrong on the shape. Tecnomodel says they are doing a 1/12th Ferrari 375 F1 car. I highly doubt I will buy it as it will almost certainly be wrong.

Top Marques has announced many 12th scale models but many, like the Ferrari 312T announced over a year still hasn't been released. I suspect they are 'fishing' for the ones with the most interest and release them first, some announced may never be produced in that case. This is pure speculation and may not be correct.

You mean this 1/12th model?, it's out. I do not say that Top Marques is by any means perfect, but they are getting better and they do pretty good work on their 1/12th models. Still a lot of room for improvement but I like the shapes of most of their 1/12th models, but not always the details. The 246 and 206 are not my favorite Top Marques models as they have some issues, but they are trying atleast.

Top Marques Dino 246 NART Lemans 1972 in 1/12th scale. They cleaned up most of the issues and changed the wheels. Looks like a good effort. The car did get a few new decals and lost a few as the Lemans weekend continued so photos vary.

I will have to see better pictures to see if they did the bumper mounts and other minor things but it does look like a nice NART 246 Lemans. Also have to check start of race photos for the decals.
I remember seeing this car up at the Road America Historical races many years ago. I thing the heart surgeon from Missouri owned it then.

Let us know when you find out they have arrived. I didn't find the norev.com web site very informative.

Not impressed with the look of the wheels and tires, the sidewalls look unengraved with any sort of markings-you might away with that on a smaller scale but not in 1/12th. The wheel spoke pattern is too sparse, not enough spoke to replicate the real wheels 72 spoke pattern.

Regarding lack of tire sidewall details. Licensing is often a big issue with the tire companies, and the tire companies can be brutal = no sidewall detailing, which is unfortunate. Wire wheels look nice, but I agree, spokes look sparse. Will be interesting to see if this is a better more detailed model than the one from GT Spirit. The Bugatti looks pretty weak so far.

At the risk of offending someone.... Why on earth would any model manufacturer consider, let alone choose to model this car in 1:12 scale?? There are so many other... better choices, that have never been modeled in any scale. Plus this one has already been produced in 1:18 scale. Photos also look like they are of the 1:18th piece.

1/12th Norev Bugatti Type 35. Good starting point for a few Monaco cars. Remove those silly lights and add lots of safety wire and details
