Azzurro La Plata 20A167 I’m quite smitten Does anyone know the background of the name or any history of the color? Some of these l’m making a presumption on the color and stand to be corrected. Looks awesome! We need to organise a get together, and get bluebottle along with his blue Dino! Just need Bruce’s 812 and we would have quite the blue quartet!
That is a gorgeous car and I believe owner by a member here If I’m not mistaken, the color is French Racing Blue The video is worth a rewatch. Thanks for posting it up
Let me know some dates and I’m in!!! Love to meet more tifosi. I warn you, I will bore you to tears about cars! Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission
Nah, stuck in the UK, island of the damned! Las Vegas September again though!!!!! Can’t wait to get back Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission
C50, I had this car for 58 years before it was sold at auction by Gooding last August at Pebble Beach. French Racing Blue is what I called it, although I suspect that is not an official designation, others have called it Bugatti Blue, but again I suspect it was whatever color they happened to have at the time it was new, when they painted it for the original owner - a Frenchman named Francois Picard. Amazing! My apologies for not clueing into your intimate connection with that fine automobile. I’ve enjoyed rewatching the Petrolicious video a few times and always felt such pleasure hearing you describe your experiences. If I had a more well endowed bank account, I would have jumped at the opportunity to bid on your car. It must have been a tough decision to pass it on to the next steward. Sigh. Thanks so much for sharing in those videos, as well as here. You doubtless have a lot of enthusiasts who like to buy you a beer in appreciation. Best Regards C
Robert, thank you so much for posting. That has to be one of the most beautiful cars of all time. Love the story and the fact that you have used it as it was intended to be used. I’ve always felt cars should be driven; I’am always puzzled by those who take pride in how little they use them! Cheers Adrian
Adrian, always felt that way, these two shots from a couple of years back at Laguna Seca are among my favorites: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4kiifvlex5qrpap/entering%20the%20corkscrew-sm.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/xljnombkgqzf14z/%2Acorkscrew%20apex.jpg?dl=0 Best regards, Robert
Saw this 488 in Abu Dhabi blue. It was spectacular in the sunshine with that red interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Wow, 29 pages discussing the best shade of Ferrari blue? That’s great. You are my kind of people. Mine is blue Tdf. Have owned over the years all in blue Tdf 2x 355 spider, 575 Maranello 6 speed (still have it), 812 and incoming 488 pista pilota and 488 pista spider. My 4 cam wasn’t exactly blue Tdf but close. Oh and my Pagani is blue and my racecar. Our first foray into the blues is Blu Abu Dhabi on our 812. Love your cars! BTW, how do you like the Pagani? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Pagani feels very special. More than the Ferrari road cars. Fun to drive, great noises, feels extremely quick. It has about the same power as the F12 but is 600 pounds lighter and has 50% more torque. It’s lots of fun and beautiful to look at. The attention to detail is like nothing I have ever seen.
I have looked at two live and in person. They are beautiful works of art to me. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
