hi, On my 348 the complete ac Compressor, the bracket, and both tubes are missing. Any idea where i can geht this for a normal Price? 400 Euro for a Second Hand bracket only Looks very high to me. One tube 400euro?! Compressor? Thanks for feedbacks Alex
Search this thread. There will be some information about alternative sources for the AC compressor. Hoses could be custom made by any AC shop https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/348-parts-sourcing-interchange.50339/
No luck with a manufactured bracket? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/broken-ac-bracket-and-a-new-venture.596645/#post-146514545 Is a billet bracket likely to be any stronger than a cast one?
Yes the bracket from Steve is Great! But More expansive as all others. If you let Build only one piece it will end up close to 1000 Euro How big is the market for it, How will be the request in the Future? If we let Build 100 it cost maybe only 100 per piece....... But will 100 Ferrari 348 owner Need the bracket? Let me know your opinions
Ouch. A risky investment. What usually happens when there is a big demand, the big boys step in (e.g. Hills Engineering). It happened with the Spider seat tilt levers.
Hi tommy Sounds Great, But How can i contact you? Sorry i am new in that Forum Is the number your phone number? I Come from Germany and Need a Country Code. Thanks in advance Alex I
If clutch is close I cannot rotate the compressor, but guess it is normal you need a lot of energy to rotate it, right?
Should not be too hard. YOu should be able to spin it by hand easy and feel a bit "notchy" as it makes compression. If you had AC in it on the car it would be hard to spin by hand Pull those plugs out and try spinning it
