It has challenge wheels, and lots of carbon and it’s not Rosso Corsa. But seriously, it’s not actively on the market, but is open for discussion.
Are the 09s better than other years? What do they have that others don’t? (Apart from less age) I understand there were some incremental changes but mainly to F1 programming which doesn’t apply to manuals.
Here is a gated 430 coupe up for auction in the UK next weekend. On the surface, it has strong potential. 4K miles (very low for here) and even a “celebrity” first owner in Gordon Ramsay. But looking at the pix of the driver’s seat and the rubber area on the floor where your heels rub under the pedals (what’s that called?) I would really wonder if this car has just done 4K miles. The seat bolsters and cushions look shiny and a bit worn and that floor rubber is much more worn than on my 10k mile gated 430. But maybe that’s just a heavy driver. What do people think? It will provide a price point anyway.
Another one, in the same auction https://silverstoneauctions.com/events/2019-auctions/the-silverstone-classic-sale-2019/silverstone-classic-sale-saturday-27th-sunday-28th-july-2019/2pm-sunday-28th-july-2019-classic-cars-competition-cars/2005-ferrari-f430-manual This one 36k miles, service history only since 2016.
CNC motors has some gated 430 spiders on sale right now for $149,999. 951-212-9581. Ask for Fraser Thom. I bought my Alfa through him, super easy to work with.
Any issues with these particular gated spiders? Seems like a light # unless these gated 430's are dropping.
One has a branded title (the '07). The others seem really good / clean. CNC has a good reputation, so I would expect the cars are all mechanically sound.
