The Pirelli tires are killing me on cost/wear ratio, but since I seem to burn up 2 at a time, I keep staying with them.

The Pirell's in the rear lasted me 50k mi lol. The fronts were changed twice though, but I have aggressive camber in the front. But now all for corners are done so I thought I'd try something new. I really liked the soft and comfy feel of the firehawk's on my gf's abarth.

I think my tires are 'getting there' but I only have 18k miles on the car. So far no problems driving in the rain so I am going to keep on trucking.
Perhaps if I didn't fling the car into every corner I see they would last longer.

Oh, my car tramlines like crazy. It is always pulling to one side of the road or the other depending on where the grooves in the road are. Is that normal?

This is going to sound dumb, but I was checking under the hood and the coolant looks to be low. Is it normal for the car to use coolant? The car is a 2015 with about 18k on the clock.

This picture was taken April 22nd. It might even be lower now.

This picture was as of May 22nd. Even lower still.

So I took it to the dealer and there was a leak in one of the hoses. Love story short, have someone qualified look it over!

Loose factory OEM crimp-style hose clamps are a known thing. They have been shown to be weak and to allow seepage.

Locate the culprit, cut it off, and replace with a conventional screw-type clamp. Problem solved.

I took it to the dealer and they pressure tested the cooling system and found a leak. It's now good to go!

Going to get this installed finally. I made some seals for the ends of the bushing component. Had seen some early failures of o-rings and they were usually filled with road grit as well as degraded from the pounding. I saved some packing material from a shelving unit and did some trimming to two dimension of the plastic collars. They fit the strut and the core o-ring just right. The flange should mate and slide in the mount and hopefully keep debris entering to a minimum. I had also used some different profile rings to create a secondary seal just outboard of the stock o-rings and added one more o-ring to each end. Hoping to get motivated enough while down there to put the hi-cap oil pan on too. More pics later if that happens.

It was a loaded 12 w/o sunroof with 85k. 2 accidents on it, neither my fault im happy to say! So privately it was sales proof. Traded that with a rusty old Expedition. Gave me $8750 but that's not a real number. Bought a new Chevy Bolt for commuting for my biz, with discounts and trades it was 21k out the door on a 41k msrp. 0 to 60 in 6.5 seconds! Ludicrous Lite i call it!
