Hello everyone, I tell you this crazy story, about 20 years ago, with the purchase of an alfa romeo prototype, they gave me a spare v6 busso, which when I saw it, I thought of placing it in a monoposto ... look tirelessly, until I found the correct chassis, it took me 10 years of negotiations to buy it, until it finally materialized ... that's how the car was when I bought it ...

When I found the car a while ago I saw that the place where the engine was going, almost certainly entered the busso ... the time gave me the reason ... the engine entered, very fair, but it entered, it had to do a very big job of adaptation, but without a doubt everything was on track ..
while, at the same time, it reforms the Jenvey injection to my liking ... Image Unavailable, Please Login

As the Jense injection comes from the factory it brings the injectors ramp from the outside and it was not to my liking, so I decided to completely reform the injection so that the ramps are on the inside ...
the Jenvey bodies were longer than I wanted and take advantage of turning them to shorten them ...

once the bodies were redirected and shortened this is ...

already with the ramp of injectors on the side of the center is what I wanted and we continued with the rest ... there was a lot to do ... place the hewland box, make the body, make the dry carter matrix, position the external oil pump, make pulley trains ...

I got an oil pump with the mechanical rpm control, of the time ...
finishing the transmission ... Image Unavailable, Please Login

while, in parallel with the best bodybuilder in Argentina, he decided to make the cockpit of the car ...

Once the model was made, the matrix was made, then the bodywork was made ..

in these days they are already delivering the body, so I already do the water radiator and I pass the water and oil hoses, soon I upload the advances

    Very cool!

I've never operated a lathe, no issues with turning something with that much off center mass? (or do you just run less rpm)

Once I have the body in my possession, I will be able to send an aluminum radiator, see where the cooling pipes and other elements that go in the tube go through ...

If you work with a lot of patience and at low rpm, you manage to do everything, the problem is that the vast majority of people have no patience ..

in parallel I brought the system to design the leaks myself, so they pass where I want and they all have the same length

After doing this, it took me 7 months to get someone to copy the model in a pipe, nothing easy, but I found after asking a lot and walking a lot, a workshop which apparently, managed to manufacture what I was needing ... .

Hello everyone, after having lost all the photos of the project, of my son since he was a baby and many more things, because my two ... yes, two hard disks will stop working at the same time (one of backup of the other), I upload the progress of the project, I have finished presenting the exhaust manifolds, ready to be finished

Meanwhile, in parallel I continue working on the exhaust outlets, having to make the pieces not only to place, but also to assemble them correctly since if there is an error, besides being scary, you have to start all over again, the handmade pieces one by one...

the matrix where the pieces are assembled
