Went to really nice cocktail party this evening so we just wanted to kick back. Grabbed a pizza, nothing great, and the beer was cold and tasted great.

More food tomorrow. Hope a higher caliber too.

Yesterday at Shell Falls. Newly re-opened and it’s beautiful. We’ve been driving by it for years as they worked on it.

The fragrance of juniper was amazing. It gave me the hankering for a G&T... which was satisfied at the cocktail party yesterday.

And I spotted the survey marker on a rock as we were leaving.

    Thanks. Going for steak tonight.

The weather has been interesting. Quick changing and severe.

It’s an enclosed Trailex, standard height. My second one. Shouldn’t have sold my first. Really like them - easy towing.

I love the west and no humidity. A big thunderstorm just rolled over us. Dark, wind, pouring rain... a few minutes later blue skies and it’s drying out with no humidity. Nice. Back east this would be a sauna.

We don’t have a full day to drive around so maybe up the Southfork. Nice drive with beautiful views of the still snow-covered Absaroka mountains. We also want to visit the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center (WWII Japanese American confinement site).

Tomorrow planning a day trip into Yellowstone.

Those wine prices look like mis-prints

Not seeing those deals in Chicago

Loved the sliding gun cabinets, kind of something from a Ferrari owner’s garage

Great outdoors pics as you always provide
