Time to get this started. Pretty close to last year - load up the NSX and family and head west to South Dakota, Wyoming, and hopefully Montana for a few weeks. Lots of planning and it’s finally here. Hope the weather holds out because it’s been crazy wet out west this year.

Going west across PA then mainly on 80. Until we get to South Dakota not much car content. Long haul trucking duty.

A few pics to start with.

Bought the 7” Race Ramps and they wouldn’t fit under the car in back so up front fully wrapped in blankets. Should have gotten them years ago. So easy to load now.

PA Turnpike... Each one of these patch / repairs is below the road surface so wham, wham, wham! What the hell were they thinking? At least weather was ok.

    Somewhere in Ohio.

Ohio has really nice service areas on the toll road / 80. Great space for dog walking. Indiana and Illinois have terrible service areas for pets.

Plus Ohio has good roads! Indiana and Illinois... the pits. Last year we went west on 70 which was a mess.

Three days of driving. Full tank went 233 miles with 33 gallons! Just under half a tank and about 100 mile range. 8.8 mpg. 1647 miles total.

Amazing what you see driving across the country. From crazy driving - someone backing up on an exit in Chicago (guess they took the wrong one! And people (including us) swerving like crazy), to a guy on 20 west in rural Iowa (a newly opened four lane road) who turned and started driving the wrong way down the highway in his pickup. My wife and I both said is that guy going the wrong way!? He made it a few hundred yards with a couple people dodging him as he swerved into the medium, did a u-turn in the middle of the road and drove off.

Other than that it was pretty easy except for the wind in Iowa. Iowa and South Dakota are beautiful.

I guess rain in Chicago in June is better than that kind of white out

Have a great trip and keep up the food shots

Change of plans and no NSX for this 4-5 day trip into Wyoming. What a mess coming in. And we canceled the Bear Tooth leg of the trip - it was closed yesterday.

Once back in SD we’ll do some day trips. We’re disappointed but the hail storms recently have been insane (may need a new house roof after one last week). Rather have the car safe.

    Today’s drive was beautiful.
