I like the drama at the end: switching the numbers! Need more of that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What was classless? He got robbed , he disagrees and his frustrated in the heat of the moment and he told the crowd not to boo Lewis...childish maybe, classless is more a term appropriate for the man running our great America Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BRAVO To the Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel and Charles LeClerc. This is your race Seb. You did it.
My first post on this forum. I'm disappointed by FIA's decision today, but I still try to be objective and wonder based on which similar incidents FIA made this decision. I suggest what FIA can do to calm the viewers is announcing additional arguments why they made this decision. For example showing video footage of similar incidents getting similar penalty. They must have a list of occurred incidents of the past 20 years in various categories with corresponding penalties. Share them with the viewers!
When Seb went off the track was it an unforced error? Was it due to pressure from Lewis? Was just another example of the pressure we've seen getting to him like in the last 4 or 5 spins? Would Seb have won if he didn't make this mistake? Why should a driver who makes a mistake be allowed to rejoin the track and force a faster mistake free driver into the wall or hard on his brakes?
WTF do you feel the need to make a political comment? Put it in P&R, not here. Vettel won. End of conversation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ask the stewards who had to deal with exactly this situation in Monaco between Lewis and Ricciardo. Double standards all around Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
WTF=> that’s classless, u might want to convey ur message politely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I erased my comment. Possibly SF should erase them selves from the next race in protest and the FIA can worry about who bothers to show up or watch.
Technically the penalty was correct but as a race steward I would still not have done it because it destroyed the race and was overly harsh. As for Seb's petulant child behavior at the end of the race: The FIA really does not like those kind of antics. He shouldn't have done that. I get his frustration, but parking the car at the pit entry, then storming away, then switching the winners numbers was not something worthy of a quadruple WDC.
I don't usually call for BANS but there are rules about posting the outcomes of racing events on the day of the events
Fair enough but the outcome would have said Lewis won by 5 secs penalty to better got unsafe return to track no? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I totally agree with you. Interestingly, the title could be read that Vettel did or didn't win, so it would only be a spoiler to someone who read it as it was intended. But still a spoiler in the end.
The Mayor is right. Natkingcolebasket69 you should have chosen a less descriptive title and added SPOILERS to it. Something like: "Do you agree with the stewards decisions? ***SPOILERS ***"
When you participate in a sport, you accept the rules, and the décisions from those who regulate that sport. There are in most cases, legal channels to appeals against unfair décisions and unjust penalties. We didn't see proper behaviour from Vettel this afternoon when he was struck by a time penalty. It's quite regretable from a sportman who received 4 times the highest honours awarded by the FIA to a driver. F1 made him successful, rich and famous and he should have respected a decision against him without protest.
