I'm trying to understand the steering wheel. It has symbols for adaptive cruise control and rear wiper indicator. Adaptive cruise control means we will se a radar antenna in the V duct. But the rear wiper indicator, I just don't understand. Why does it have that, there is no possible way to have a wiper attached to the rear window? Or are we seeing a conceptual interior soon to be seen elsewhere (SUV Purosange?) These are symbols not seen on any cars from Maranello until now. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, I just clocked your name on here and think that the Moderators should step in! "U-Boat Commanders" ordered many awful atrocities in WWII from machine gunning ship-wreck survivors (both enlisted men and merchant seamen), sinking neutral vessels (such as the USS Ruben James which was "neutral" at that time the US had not joined the war), sinking Red Cross vessels, etc. Hence I find the name you have chosen in poor taste and request that you consider changing it, as such elements of the Nazi regime should not be celebrated on FerraiChat (or anywhere else)!
Frontal design is still nice and clean. Side profile is also nice even though the flying buttress and profile make me think of Ford GT. The mess, IMO, is the rear deck and entire rear end. Yes, can't stop thinking about those Camaro taillights. The divorce from Pininfarina is a total mistake. V6 in a few years?!?! I thought cars that have Ferrari V6 are called Alfa. Yes, all these emission regulation is making everyone following the trend of the F1, currently with V6. Not their fault, but with a V6 in the pipeline, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised to see a 4-cylinder Ferrari in the near future. How will it sound? Likely not too exciting, especially with the future V6. Just listen to the current F1...like a lawnmower and aurally castrated compared to N/A units of the past. Many road-going N/A V12/V10/V8 sound better than current F1 lineup.
I don't know if you're serious or joking. But will assume the latter. The name comes from the movie "Risky Business". In said movie the main character drives his father's Porsche 928 into Lake Michigan and when it is recovered the mechanic remarks "Who's the U-Boat Commander"? Having been a Porsche owner most of my life and also from the same town in Chicago where the movie was set, that name has been my name on car forums virtually since the invention of the Internet. As a Jew, I hardly am someone to espouse Nazi sympathies.

I am serious and haven't seen that film - not that it would make a difference to my views. But I just wanted to make the request and its up to you to do what you want. So please let's leave this for the moderators and get back to loving / hating the new car!
Arrogant and stupid I'm sorry. There are dirt poor guys with great knowledge and true passion who bring great contribution to the forum, and there are guys with 12 ferraris who are ignorant and arrogant pricks. Even If I can technically buy a used Ferrari, I'm clearly not in position to maintain or own it on the long term and I have other priorities. Doesn't prevent me to be an active member. I find your post deeply depictable
I'm imagining one in California Azzurro Blue with carbon accents Wonder when they'll release an options price list ?
Most concerning is that 1700kgs is very heavy. Hard to overlook that. So far we have a lot of power and a hell of a lot of weight combined with a very unusual design. And that rear engine lid - hmm really not sure what to make out of that at the moment.....not feeling it. The whole design looks very J50......which was unusual and not a beautiful thing imo.
Is already posted in the thread 'New V8 Mid Engined Model', page 113 (post 2824). It's not like a N/A sound, of course, but i think the exhaust can keep the rhythm in every rev, without the turbo caracterithic noise. And definitely have much room to improvement on the aftermarket exhaust companies (Kline, Novitec, etc.).
Wow I look at this car and see Those Camaro tail lights.... awful.. I like the Pista better. Am sure this new SF90 is a beast though! The end of a all gas Ferrari has arrived!!
That 3/4 rear view of the rear end and rear deck/hatch area...horrendous! That tiny rear window...is that a jail cell opening or something?
