    Big congrats and nice photos. Beautiful bride and beautiful ride. I drove my 458 spider to my wedding. Didnt even think about including the car in the wedding pics. Well done.

    I don't think anybody has ever claimed that the 458 Speciale or Pista were race cars. So not sure why you feel that the Pista or Speciale are wannabe cars. They are very much the real deal for what they are. They are true blood exotic sports cars, and the VS versions are simply a step above the normal cars. You may not think a Pista or Speciale is better than a 458 Spider, but they are. They are the real deal, they are not wannabe cars.

    They are better then the spider for sure except for sound. And they matters a lot in an open top, it changes the experience.

    I personally prefer the sound of the 488 Spider over the 458 Spider.
    And with a Pista Spider, there's no comparison.

    I think the 430 and 458 sound is way too monotome. There's a lot of nuances going on with the 488 sound which I prefer and the Pista sound is pure art.

    Add to that the cowl shake is almost gone on the 488 Spider, that for me at least, makes it better on all accounts.

    To each their own :)

    No I am not. I'm not new to this forum, and while I'm well aware that a lot, especially 458 owners like the 458 sound more, I also know that I am far from the only one that prefers the 488.
