Can anyone recommend a body shop in Oregon to get the fenders rolled on our 04 360 spider The shop Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo uses declined as they have never done it before. The old shop they used that had done it before is no longer in business Thanks J&N
Thanks for the info. Will show this to a handy friend and see what he thinks. We would still probably like a shop to do it if possible.
Doing a quick search, I found this on Amazon. Looks to be the same tool: https://www.amazon.com/WINTOOLS-Fender-Roller-Rolling-Extending/dp/B07GB52TH5/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=fender+roller&qid=1558890005&s=gateway&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1
This one has a much better rating on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Smartxchoices-Fender-Extending-Flaring-Reforming/dp/B01DVY7HVG/ref=pd_day0_hl_263_4/131-7111881-3172615?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01DVY7HVG&pd_rd_r=eed84e4c-7fd7-11e9-aff7-7b8b27abc5ce&pd_rd_w=GmC8z&pd_rd_wg=TTHgY&pf_rd_p=ad07871c-e646-4161-82c7-5ed0d4c85b07&pf_rd_r=W67NWPBHD1TDCRZ6GAYX&psc=1&refRID=W67NWPBHD1TDCRZ6GAYX
I have seen body guys use a baseball bat. quick easy to do but chance of cracking paint at roll spots.
Contact Craig at The Jag Shop. He’s an industry veteran who works on / owns Ferraris. I’ll bet he has a local recommendation.
Didn’t this myself, it’s not difficult, you just need to be patient and go slow so you don’t crack the paint. Use a heat gun on the paint/fender to get it warmer and pliable.
