I'm restoring a RH front light of a Mondial T that has a cracked glass lower lens.

Very simple: 15 minutes on 135 centrigrade C° in the oven. Then, take it out and gently pull the glass lens from the housing. Drops off like a dry towel from a baby's butt.

Great tip thanks. I am about to try and polish the glass on mine.

So what are you doing with the glass are you going to replace it?

They're not available in glass, Martijn reproduces them in some sort of plastic epoxy.

Just tried this, worked great! Installing new glass lenses. Mine were pitted.

This has been a question/issue since the beginning of FerrarChat, and I am sure longer than that. There have been lenses available online and here, but everyone always unaware how to remove and replace the glass.

    Congratulations!!

Dry towel off a baby's butt. Never heard that one before.
