Very cool to see! Do you have any more Ferrari pictures you can share from Gentry Lane or earlier times?

Fantastic, a photograph of Luigi at the controls of his 308 GTS way back in 1978! Very neat to see a black Euro spec BB 512 Boxer that Canadian dealers received to. Thank you Sir!!!
The Americans had to modify the Boxers registered there unlike the Canadian destination cars.
There was a red/black Boxer about 1978 along with a 308 from Rome that came to Toronto Canada and were confiscated by the Mounties. The guy who owned Rexdale autobody got that red BB 512 eventually when it was sold. As I recall it had a creme interior like the nero Boxer in your photograph at Gentry Lane.

Excellent a real trip down memory lane with their 1991 F40 being the favourite! That photograph looks like the famous ride through Yorkville one night. The 1985 GTO with the red cloth seats has to be right up there as a favourite to, pictured on it's EE export plates.
I don't recall that particular Daytona spyder but there were two other Daytona spyders that were briefly for sale at Gentry Lane. Those were soon removed back to the USA though. They were very original cars (one had 9,700 miles) but not concours as I remember the convertible window had gone very yellow. Thank you for sharing these photographs.
Do you recall which model year that black Boxer was?

the f 40 was indeed in yorkville one night and a car drove by while i was taking a time exposure , the daytona spider was one of 2 we had at gentry , but that was after Luigi,s passing , they came from RM ,I drove both ,Rob purchased gentry lane and was putting some NICE cars in the showroom ,as far as the bb512 i think it was an 83 or 84 ?? i do have somewhere the ad from the globe and mail with the details that photo in the basement with the big ferrari sign was for that ad , i will see if i can dig it out,

Yes that would be super if you could get the details for that black BB 512! Great photograph in front of the sign.
The two earlier 1975 365 GT/4 Berlinetta Boxer cars in Toronto were imported by Yonge Steeles Motors supposedly for 'cold weather' testing and never left. In 1976 they were both advertised for sale in the Globe & Mail. The first Boxer was white and the second was dark blue. They were priced at 40k each but had to be leased. However later they were sold. All three series of the Boxer were sold in Toronto but there was only one late red 512 BBi with fuel injection that was sold and then the Testarossa came along that was USA legal from the start.

Yes I met Scott for the first time at the Sportsman Show if I remember correctly in 1970. He was there by himself with a little red Dino 246 GT coupe. He told me one time that what he liked best about the car business was all the different people he met. Scott was also very patient which was a good trait when you had to answer the same questions over and over again! One time I was at the dealership and they had just gotten in a Fiat X1/9 and Scott's son and I went out for a very fun drive!

Nice! 1993 TR? The Canadian market cars didn't have the USA Federal 'mouse motor' for the seat-belts...

Amazing to see all those Euro F40 models lined up for shipping. Interesting that the outside mirror on the door has not yet been installed; about 1989?
    Thank you!
